Mission
Statement
Cops for the Cause is a Ministry
of service. Serving not only their fellow brothers and sisters who
valiantly wear the shield to protect the innocent, but to work in unison
with the community in which they serve to make a better life for all. Honor
shall guide our actions and integrity shall lead our hearts. |
Cops for the Cause was founded in 2003
by Police Officers as a support network for the law enforcement community as
a resource to assist those in time of critical need. The responsibilities
of “The Cause” are two fold. First to provide assistance to those in the law
enforcement community that have suffered in the line of duty, or suffering
from chronic or terminal illness, or are the victim of some other
catastrophic circumstance. Second to allow Police Officers and the community
to work in unison in an effort to provide assistance to those who are less
fortunate.
Cops for the Cause is a federally recognized charity under the
Internal Revenue Service Code 501(c)(3) and all donations may be tax deductible. It is
also registered as a non-profit charitable organization with the State of
Florida. |
